Gansevoort Meatpacking

The location is probably the best place to stay in NY. Neightborhood is full of restaurants, bars, stores, Chelsea Market is just a few steps, subway is reasonably close. The hotel is clean, stylish and has a cool low profile vibe. Room is above average in size with all you need for a confort stay.

The room was very clean, and very quiet. It was a perfect accommodation for us. On Saturday night there was an impromptu block party out in front of the hotel which was loud, but it was also fun to watch from our window and they were gone by midnight. Every other night was the quietest I've ever experienced staying in Manhattan. They made up the sofa bed every night for us since we had three to our room. They were quick to bring towels and wash cloths when we needed them as well. The location is also very good. It's so close to the high line, little island, the West Village and the Whitney. Really it can't be beat. Plus the rooftop pool was dreamy!

Property is in a great location in Meat Packing. You are right next to the high line, and some important night clubs and great restaurants. Walking around the meatpacking you have a relaxed vibe away the hustle and bustle of other parts of NYC. West village, soho and Chelsea are all walking distance. Hotel has a great rooftop terrace for sunset drinks and there are lots of beautiful people who are drawn to such a spot. The pool is more for adults than kids so I wouldn’t recommend for families.

Excellent location at the heart of Greenwich village. Rooms were nice, clean and included amenities Rooftop is up above neighboring buildings and has an amazing view towards the Hudson river. Rooftop pool is clean and just big and deep enough. Staff is extremely helpful and assistive - big like to them!

The room was spacious and very stylish. The detailing in design and functionality of everything in the room was spectacular. The housekeeping does a great job with cleaning and the bath had all that one would need. The views were gorgeous. The roof top bar is where we spent all evenings watching the sun go down. The location is so convenient to shop, eat out and head to anyplace in the city. Serafina across was our favourite place to dine in the evenings. Dos dominos is another all time favourite. It is a very hip neighbourhood and with the Chelsea market, the highline and the little island all reachable within minutes of walking. The M14 bus around the corner was very convenient to reach all the places that we wanted to go. The staff was very helpful with all we needed.
